Alderman Alastair KING
Lord Mayor of London

Alderman Alastair King DL became the 696th Lord Mayor of London in November 2024. The Lord Mayor is the Head of the City of London Corporation, the governing body of the UK’s main financial district. The principal role of Lord Mayor is as a Global Ambassador for the UK’s Financial and Professional Services sector. Alderman King is on the board of five City of London-based financial services companies, four of which he chairs. Of the five companies, four are FCA-regulated and he owns two – Naisbitt King Asset Management Limited (a fund manager) and Naisbitt King Limited (a family office). Alderman King is Chair of the British Liver Trust, the UK’s national liver charity. He also has substantial involvement in London’s historic Livery Companies and is a Deputy Lieutenant for Greater London. He is an Honorary Fellow - Chartered Institute of Securities and Investment (CISI), an Honorary Visiting Professor - Bayes Business School, City St George’s, University of London and an Honorary Bencher - Honourable Society of the Middle Temple.

Anastasia NISHNIANIDZE
Trade and Investment Director, the City of London Corporation

Currently, Anastasia serves as the Trade and Investment Director at the City of London Corporation, leading the work to ensure the UK remains a top destination for global financial and professional services and capital investment. Ana leads a team of professionals delivering initiatives to enhance the UK's global trade and investment position across the financial and professional services sector. Ana is an experienced executive and ex-diplomat, specialised in trade and investment, international business and public affairs. She was previously Australia’s Trade and Investment Commissioner to the UK and Ireland, as well as Westcoast of the US. With over a decade of experience, Ana has successfully developed and implemented strategies to attract foreign investment and support businesses in expanding internationally. Having held roles across the Australian Trade and Investment Commission, Clean Energy Regulator and Australian Treasury, Ana’s experience ranges across international strategy, business development and policy engagement to deliver impact and to drive business and economic performance.

YAMAOKA Hiromi
Special Advisor for International Finance, Tokyo Metropolitan Government （Board Member and Chief Sustainability Officer, Future Corporation）

Hiromi Yamaoka entered the Bank of Japan in 1986. Since then, he assumed various positions in policy fields in the Bank, including the Head of Economic Research Group in the Research and Statistics Dept., the Senior Economist in Policy Planning Office, the Head of Large-bank Surveillance in Financial Systems and Bank Examination Dept., the Director-General of Markets Dept., and the Director-General of Payment and Settlement Systems Dept. He also served as the Alternate Executive Director for Japan in the International Monetary Fund, the Member of the Basel Committee for Banking Supervision (BCBS), the Member of the Markets Committee (MC) of the Bank for International Settlements (BIS) and the Member of the Committee on Payments and Market Infrastructure (CPMI) of the BIS. He obtained LL.B. from the University of Tokyo Faculty of Law and LL.M. from the University of California at Berkeley School of Law. He is the attorney of law in New York State. He is now working also as the chairperson of the Digital Currency Forum, which consists of leading companies and mega-banks in Japan.

Alexis R. ROCAMORA
Sustainable Finance & Investment Lead, APAC, London Stock Exchange Group

Alexis is leading the design and implementation of sustainable finance platforms, ESG analytics solutions and climate data feeds for institutional investors, asset managers and market infrastructure clients across the Asia Pacific region at LSEG. He is also responsible for leading go-to-market strategy for APAC, enabling data users such as quant teams, risk managers or ESG integration specialists to leverage LSEG's global climate and sustainability datasets in local market contexts. Prior to joining LSEG, Alexis worked as a Senior Consultant at EY, advising global corporations on sustainability strategy, ESG disclosures and climate transition. Before that, he was at the Institute for Global Environmental Strategies (IGES), where he worked with government agencies in Japan, Europe and South-East Asia to develop national climate policy roadmaps, carbon pricing strategies and low-carbon technology programs. Based in Tokyo, Alexis holds an MBA from Hult International Business School as well as an LLM in Environmental Law and a BA in Law, Economy and Management from Aix-Marseille University. He is a certified ‘Sustainability Excellence Professional’ from Green Business Certification Inc. (GBCI) and speaks French, English and Japanese.

Yingying CHEN
Director, Transition Finance, Standard Chartered Singapore

Ying Ying has over 15 years of experience in the energy sector. Her focus in Standard Chartered covers key decarbonisation solutions including CCS. She also plays an active role in carbon market development. Prior to her time in the bank, Ying Ying worked with Mitsubishi Corporation on LNG value chain investment. She was also a core team member of NextGen CDR Facility, a platform aggregating the supply and demand of high quality Carbon Dioxide Removal credits.
Ying Ying completed a course in Climate Change Management & Finance at Imperial College in 2021, and she holds an MSc in Metals and Energy Finance as well as a B.Eng in Civil Engineering. Ying Ying draws track record from MENA, ASEAN and Greater China with local experience in Singapore, London and Beijing.

TAKANASHI Masayuki
Executive Officer, Group CSuO, Sumitomo Mitsui Financial Group

Joined Sumitomo Bank (now SMBC) in 1993.
After serving as Head of the Group’s Investor Relations team, he led the production of the Group’s first integrated report while working in the Planning Department. He also promoted sustainable finance as SMBC’s Co-General Manager for Loan Capital Markets Department in London.
Before taking up his current assignment in April 2023, he spent a year as the General Manager of the Corporate Sustainability Department.
He is currently responsible for the Group’s corporate strategy and business promotion related to sustainability.

WATABE Yasuko
General Manager and Head of Sustainable Investment, Mitsubishi UFJ Trust and Banking Corporation

Yasuko Watabe currently serves as General Manager and Head of Sustainable Investment, Sustainable Investment Division at Mitsubishi UFJ Trust and Banking Corporation (MUFG Trust Bank). Yasuko engaged in investment operations for asset management companies as Chief Manager in the Global Asset Management Division. From 2018, served as Senior Vice President at Bank of Ayudhya, Public Company Limited in Bangkok, Thailand. After returning to Japan, Yasuko headed the Responsible Investment till present. Involved in sustainable investment both within Japan and abroad, serving as an external advisor for the Ministry of the Environment’s “Advisory Meeting on Evaluation Methods for Physical Risks due to Climate Change.” Yasuko has a Bachelor of Economics from Waseda University, Tokyo, Japan.

Jack KNIGHT
Deputy Chief Executive, The Investment Association

Jack Knight is Deputy CEO of the Investment Association with responsibility for Trade & Investment policy, as well as finance and operations, and membership and enterprises functions of the IA. Jack was previously COO of the IA for four years and held similar positions at the Takeover Panel and within a law firm beforehand.

Elysse MORGAN
Head of Client Solutions, Japan, Australia, and New Zealand, Stafford Capital Partners

Elysse Morgan is the Head of Client Solutions for Japan, Australia, and New Zealand at Stafford Capital Partners, based in Sydney. In this role, she leads relationship management, business development and capital raising efforts across the region. Elysse has focused on Japan for the last 2 years, working closely with institutional investors supporting their transition to net zero through sustainable investment vehicles.
Prior to joining Stafford, Elysse built a distinguished 15-year career in journalism, as the editor of the Australian Broadcasting Corporation’s business television program and as the network’s economics correspondent.
Elysse is a former trustee director of Media Super, holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and a membership of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Alexander ROBINS
Senior Investment Director, J. Stern & Co.

Alex is a senior investment director and client adviser at J. Stern & Co investment partnership in London. Alex works with clients to define and achieve their investment objectives with a particular focus on active equities and sustainability. Prior to joining J. Stern & Co., Alex spent 14 years as a Portfolio Manager at JPMorgan and two years as a Senior Relationship Manager at Sarasin & Partners. His expertise lies in Global Equities having been responsible for managing the portfolios of a number of institutional clients in Europe, the Middle East and Asia. Alex holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Newcastle University and the Investment Management Certificate (IMC).

YAMASAKI Toma
CEO, e-dash Co., Ltd.

After joining MITSUI & CO., LTD., he was primarily involved in new project developments and M&A activities in infrastructure businesses, such as electric power.
In 2015, he was posted to Silicon Valley, USA, where he engaged in venture investments and business development in the cleantech sector, including energy and mobility.
Upon returning to Japan, he led the planning and development of the e-dash business, and assumed the CEO position following the establishment of e-dash Co., Ltd. in 2022.
